JACQUES VILLENEUVE est un pilote automobile canadien, actuellement commentateur des Grands Prix de Formule 1 sur Canal+. En
Formule 1, de 1996 à 2006 (166 départs), il a été sacré champion du monde en 1997 et a remporté onze victoires, dont quatre dès sa première saison, toutes sur Williams-Renault.
Il compte également à son palmarès les 500 Miles d'Indianapolis et le championnat CART en 1995.

JACQUES VILLENEUVE termine 2ème des 500 miles d’Indianapolis lors de sa première participation en 1994. L’année d’après est la bonne
puisqu’il termine premier de cette course très prestigieuse lors de sa seconde tentative seulement. En 1996, il réitère cet exploit en Formule 1. En effet, il termine second de
la coupe du monde de F1 lors de sa première tentative avant de devenir champion du monde en 1997 lors de sa 2ème participation. Jacques Villeneuve termine sa carrière en Formule 1 en 2006, avec
au total 11 grand prix remportés durant ses 10 ans de carrière au plus haut niveau.
Il est le fils de Gilles Villeneuve un ancien pilote de Formule 1 décédé tragiquement en 1982 lors du grand-prix de Belgique. Grâce à ses performances Jacques a inscrit le nom Villeneuve dans
l’histoire des sports automobile.
Jacques Villeneuve est aujourd’hui commentateur de Formule 1 pour la télévision française et italienne. Il réalise aussi des conférences, avec son confrère Mark Gallagher, sur
